Connections

Configure connections via the users array. The first entry is the default.

require('vim-teradata').setup({
  users = {
    {
      log_mech = 'TD2',     -- e.g. 'TD2', 'LDAP', 'KRB5'
      user     = 'USER',     -- wallet-backed user
      tdpid    = 'HOSTNAME', -- Teradata host/IP
    },
    {
      log_mech = 'LDAP',
      user     = 'ANOTHER_USER',
      tdpid    = 'other-host',
    },
  },
})

Credentials with tdwallet

Passwords live in tdwallet and are never written to disk. Before connecting, make sure each configured user has a matching wallet entry on your host:

tdwallet add <USER>

At logon time, vim-teradata retrieves passwords securely using $tdwallet(<user>).

Managing Profiles (:TDU)

Run :TDU to open the interactive user profile manager:

Keymap Action
<CR> Select the profile under the cursor as active
a Add a new user interactively
d Delete the profile under the cursor (with confirmation)
q Close the buffer

The currently selected profile is saved under history_dir/users.json so your active selection persists across Neovim restarts.
