Syntax Checking

  • Use :[N]TD to syntax-check the current statement plus the next N-1 statements without executing them. Statement boundaries are detected accurately via Tree-sitter AST nodes, not naive ; splitting.
  • Use :[range]TDE to syntax-check statements within the current visual selection (split on ;).
  • Syntax errors are reported with the Teradata error code and description.
